A short piece that explores the imperfection of equal tempermant. After playing two piano notes in succession, any frequency that those two notes would share as harmonics is sounded as a sine wave. The catch is, in equal tempermant the only notes that truly share partials are octaves, thus the piano note is instead interpreted as if it were justly tuned. This allows a collision between the acoustic harmonics of the piano and the sine tone partials that are generated.
